GREENWICH VILLAGE, Manhattan (PIX11) – Two women got away with a man’s cellphone and wallet after he took one of them home to his apartment with him, police said on Wednesday .
The 47-year-old was walking home when he encountered an unidentified woman early on Sunday, officials said. He then returned to his apartment in Sheridan Square with the woman. Shortly after, the woman let another woman into the apartment.
At around 4 a.m., the two women left the victim’s apartment, taking his cellphone and wallet with them, police said. Unauthorized transactions totaling approximately $6,700 were made with the man’s bank and credit cards.
The police asked for help in identifying the women. The first woman is about 5ft 5in tall with an average build and short haircut. She was last seen wearing a blue denim jacket, green shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. The second woman is also around 5ft 5in and is of medium build. She has dark hair and was last seen wearing a blue denim jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers.
