ICICI Bank has published an advisory on its revised limits on cash transactions, ATM and checkbook exchange fees for holders of national savings accounts.

The bank has mentioned this information on its website. However, these services will be applicable from August 1, 2021. The revision of the limits of the Cash Transaction Fees will be done according to the types of accounts.

Regular savings / salary accounts and variants

Cash transaction fees (cumulative deposit and withdrawal)

1) Number limit (Total sum of deposits and withdrawals); 4 free cash transactions, per month. Fees above free limits: Rs 150, per transaction

2) Limit of value (Total sum of deposits and withdrawals); The value limit includes both domiciled and non-domiciled branch transactions

a) Home branch (branch where the account is opened or carried) Rs 1 lakh. Free per month, per account. Above Rs 1 lakh – Rs 5 per Rs 1,000, subject to a minimum of Rs 150

b) Out of Home Branch – No charge for cash transactions up to Rs 25,000 per day.

Above Rs 25,000 – Rs 5 per Rs 1,000, subject to a minimum of Rs 150.

3) Third Party Cash Transaction (Total sum of deposits and withdrawals) – Up to a limit of Rs 25,000 per day – Rs 150, per transaction. Above Rs 25,000 is not allowed.

For senior customers, Young Star / Smart Star accounts, while the limit of Rs 25,000 per day will apply, the accounts will not be billed.

Savings accounts / cash wages

Cash transaction fees (cumulative deposit and withdrawal)

1) Number limit (Total sum of deposits and withdrawals); 4 free cash transactions, per month. Fees above free limits: Rs 150, per transaction

2) Limit of value (Total sum of deposits and withdrawals); The value limit includes both home and out-of-home branch transactions a) home branch (branch where the account is opened or transferred) Rs 1 lakh. Free per month, per account. Above Rs 1 lakh – Rs 5 per Rs 1,000, subject to a minimum of Rs 150

b) Out of Home Branch – No charge for cash transactions up to Rs 25,000 per day. Above Rs 25,000 – Rs 5 per Rs 1,000, subject to a minimum of Rs 150.

Gold Privilege Savings / Payroll Accounts

Cash transaction fees (cumulative deposit and withdrawal)

1) Number limit (Total sum of deposits and withdrawals); 5 free cash transactions, per month. Fees above free limits: Rs 150, per transaction

2) Value Limit (Total Sum of Deposits and Withdrawals) The value limit includes both home and non-home branch transactions. Rs 1 lakh. Free per month per account.

3) Above Rs 1 lakh – Rs 5 per Rs 1,000, subject to a minimum of Rs 150 (included – Auto and third parties).

ATM exchange fees (non-ICICI ATM transactions): silver, gold, magnum, titanium and wealth variants

1) The first 3 transactions (including financial and non-financial) at 6 metro stations (Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad) in one month – Free.

2) The first 5 transactions (including financial and non-financial) in all other locations, in one month – Free.

3) Maximum of 5 free transactions per month, with a ceiling of 3 free transactions in 6 metropolitan stations.

4) Thereafter, Rs 20 per financial transaction and Rs 8.50, per non-financial transaction.

Revision by free check payable at par holiday limit: All paid variants

None for 25 holidays by check payable at par per year; Rs 20 for each additional 10 sheet checkbook.

Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the rates in effect, applicable in addition to the fees listed. Exclusion: Any exclusion identified by the Bank.
