The popular UNO family card game celebrated its 50th anniversary with the unveiling of a 22k yellow gold playing card holder.
The exclusive card holder – which was made in Australia – took over 80 hours to create.

“Traditionally, a 50th anniversary is celebrated by giving gifts in gold – to pay homage to this tradition, UNO marks its 50th anniversary with a bespoke accessory designed especially for a UNO bridge,†said a spokesperson for Mattel ANZ.
“Its gold has a 99.99% purity level – and with a valuation of several thousand dollars, the extravagant accessory is sure to take gaming night to the next level.”
The card holder is contained in a bespoke case lined with red velvet and engraved with a limited edition 50th anniversary motif.
“For more than 50 years, UNO has brought people together for fun,†said Jacinta Whitehead, Marketing Director, Mattel ANZ.
“This is the year to celebrate this gigantic milestone in Australia in many ways throughout the year, no matter how old you are.”
