IndusInd Bank has partnered with Vistara Airlines to introduce a “Club Vistara IndusInd Bank Explorer” co-branded credit card for their customers. The new credit card comes with a number of flight benefits, including free business class tickets, membership in the Vistara frequent flyer program and lounge access. Speaking on the launch, IndusInd Bank’s consumer bank chief Soumitra Sen said the card was introduced with the aim of improving the travel experience for customers. He added that with the world slowly opening up after lockdowns from the COVID-19 pandemic, people will be looking to travel for both leisure and business, and this card aims to give them a hassle-free experience with great rewards.

The credit card is accompanied by a free membership to Club Vistara (CV) under which they can earn points on each flight. These accumulated CV points can be redeemed for flights. The card allows cashless travel to many destinations around the world.

Vistara’s commercial director Vinod Kannan said he was delighted with the new partnership and hoped customers will reap the benefits by traveling with the airlines.

Some of the main benefits offered with the card include free access to more than 600 airport lounges around the world. The cardholder will get up to five free business class tickets annually when meeting spending milestones, as well as rescheduling fee waivers on direct booking of Vistara flights.

There is individual air accident insurance with coverage of up to Rs 2.5 crore as well as insurance against loss or delay of baggage, loss of passport, ticket and missed connection.

However, the benefits of this credit card are not limited to air travel alone. The financial benefits of the card include full waiver of fuel surcharge at gas pumps across India and full waiver of late payment fees, cash withdrawal fees as well as overdue fees. limit.

Cardholders will also receive a luxury gift voucher worth Rs 25,000 or gift cards for Oberoi hotels and resorts as well as two free movie tickets worth Rs 700 each per month and free meal vouchers worth Rs 3,000 twice a year.
